The Vintage Lettering Tutorial is a two-part workshop, designed to teach you how to recreate two lettering pieces inspired by the classic design techniques of stone carving and glass gilding.
I’ll give you my best tips to create the most realistic work of arts, embellished with intricate decorative elements for an elegant and timeless look.
Here's what we are going to learn in Part I and Part II:

Hey! I’m Aurelie, a multi-passionate lettering artist from the Gold Coast, in Australia.
If you're here, I'm pretty sure that's because you've seen some of my lettering work online. And as you might have already guessed, hand lettering is my passion and I absolutely love sharing it with upcoming creatives like you!
I've been drawing letters for as long as I can remember but in 2017, I finally bought myself an iPad with the Procreate app. It was love at first sight!
I love to challenge myself and learn more about the app. That's why every year, I participate in a lettering challenge. This year was my first time hosting the Lettering Style Challenge, with the goal to help other creatives improve their lettering skills and discover their unique lettering style. For my own interpretation of the prompts, I've decided to experiment with timeless styles, textures and embellishments, and transform some iconic brands with a vintage twist.
After sharing my entries with my Instagram community, I've decided to share my tips and techniques that I've perfected during this challenge.
