I'm Aurelie, a lettering artist from the Gold Coast, Australia. I started drawing letters and designing logos before I even knew what it was called. I was properly introduced to the art of typography while studying at Griffith University in 2010. Without expecting much, I began sharing my work online, particularly my chalk typography, not thinking that people would enjoy or be inspired by it.

In 2020, during an October art challenge, I developed a love for retro signs. Initially using watercolours, I soon transitioned to creating them in Procreate. I became quickly obsessed and decided to create a Procreate brush set and a masterclass the following year. The success of this course has been overwhelming, and seeing all of your retro signs in my feed brings me so much joy!

As I kept creating more retro signs, I really focused on honing my skills. This led me to create a second version of the course, where I can teach you even more advanced techniques that I've developed.
