Every cover I create is made entirely from scratch using my custom hand-lettering process (absolutely no AI!).
From the first sketch to the final design, here’s what you can expect when we work together:
Step 1:
Hand-drawn design concepts
During the concept phase, I will create different hand-drawn directions so you can choose the one that feels right for your story.
Step 2:
Colour options
Once the final design is approved, I will explore two colour options that match the story.
Step 3:
Textures and light effects
I will add shadows and highlights to the cover to create the final atmosphere. This final cover design will be supplied as a print-ready high-resolution file.
Step 4:
Spine and back cover design
I will reuse design elements from the approved front cover to create a cohesive full cover design.
Step 5:
Vector files
The vector title and elements can be used for special print finishes such as gold foil, embossing, or for break pages and promotional materials.
Step 6:
Process promotion
I will create a process reel and long-form video to post on my socials (YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok), which you can share with your audience as well.
