How to Create a Font in Procreate

In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to create a custom font from scratch, using both Calligraphr and Procreate. It's super simple and it's also a great way to get familiar with type design.

I'm also going to show you how to install your new font so you can use it on any app on your iPad, so make sure to watch till the end! And don't forget to tag me if you share your new custom font! 💜

Step 1: Download your alphabet template from Calligraphr.com

Step 2: Draw your letters on the template in Procreate using black

Step 3: Upload the template back to Calligraphr as a .png and download your .otf file

Step 4: Install the font on procreate by pasting the .oft file in the Fonts folder of Procreate (Files > On my iPad > Procreate > Fonts)
